OPW Engineered Systems' Endura Series Loading Arms Set the Standard in Hazerdous Material Transfer

Lebanon, OHOPW Engineered Systems, a leading manufacturer of systems for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of hazardous materials and a division of OPW Fluid Transfer Group, continues to set the standard in the transfer of hazardous materials with its upgraded system of Endura Series Loading Arms. Heavy-duty construction, optimized performance, downtime prevention, and reduced maintenance time and costs help make the Endura Series the best overall loading arm system in the industry.

Setting the Endura Series apart from its competition are a series of best-in-class features and components. The Endura's Dual Split Flange (DSF) swivel joints are the only swivels on the market that combines the features of high load bearing capability, redundant sealing, leak detection, and easy maintenance. The DSF also features replaceable dual and single race bearing modules and the option to provide an inert gas purge for critical applications. The Endura is also engineered to handle the weight inherent in the loading process thanks to its user-friendly counterbalance technology. The 790 Series EZ-Adjust torsion spring counterbalance assembly guarantees precise spring-balance adjustment and a wide range of motion. Other options include full or partial steam-jacketed construction for the transfer of high-melting-point products such as molten sulfur, asphalt, resins and paraffins. An automatic shutdown option helps prevent spillage and overfills, while loading valves are available to shut off flow without causing damaging shock in the pipeline. A complete series of termination connections including the industry-leading Kamlok®, Autolok®, Kamvalok® and DryLok™ have been formulated to fit seamlessly into loading and unloading operations.

The Endura Loading Arm has established a new standard for the transfer of hazardous materials such as acids, solvents, petrochemicals and other fluids. "The Endura name has been a well-respected one in the world of swivel joints for many years," said Dave Morrow, Product Manager, Loading Systems for OPW Engineered Systems. "We hope to capitalize on that history of innovation and success by expanding that brand recognition into our full complement of loading system equipment and components."
